Amidst the rubble, they find two beastmen Kaden the kitsune, and Keaton the wolfskin. When Corrin's party arrive in Cyrkensia, they find the once-bustling port city in ruins. After seeing this, Takumi decides to join after being convinced, with his retainers, a hot-blooded samurai named Hinata, and a spear fighter with a harsh sense of hatred towards Nohrains named Oboro, joining as well.
He then does a communion with the gods to answer Corrin's question, to confirm that his goal is sincere and that Takumi, who isn't convinced, should go with him, then dying, claiming that he had to pay to communicate to the gods. Izana, being grateful of Corrin's rescue, tells Corrin that the Seal of Flames does exist physically, but knows nothing otherwise. Although Izana claims to know nothing about the Seal of Flames, the rest of the party begins to beg for him to remember even the tinest detail, only for Gunter to catch on to the fact that this was not the real Izana, but a Nohrian illusionist named Zola!Īfter Corrin's party digs through the snow field that he plants and cornering him, Zola tries to grab a hostage in hopes of surviving, but is executed by Leo out of his disgust towards the formers cowardice, then Leo tells Corrin that he won't be so friendly as to not attack them if they meet again after showing them the location of the real Izana and Takumi. After a clearing, Hayato offers to join, then the party resumes on the way to IzumoĪfter arriving in Izumo, the party stops by to see the Archduke of the Kingdom, Izana.
Rinkah, the same woman who was spared back in Nohr, decides to fight for Corrin, believing in him.Īfter a long fight, Fuga is convinced that Corrin means well. Unsurprisingly, they are met with anything but a warm welcome, with Fuga, the Wind Cheiftain, enraged over the attack and has heard of rumors over him planning to destroy both kingdoms. But they are revealed to be members of the Wind Tribe under an illusion! The party realizes they need to explain what happened. However, they are ambushed by Faceless on the way, and they are dispatched. Meanwhile, Corrin's party are heading to the Eternal Stairway to Izumo. Elise overhears and decides she needs to get involved somehow, but is stopped by Camilla, who then says that the best course of action is to stand by for safety reasons, herself not too happy about it. However, he claims its of no difference as he will claim the world easily. Azura suggests seeking an audience with Hoshido first, believing them to be more responsive.īack in Nohr, it's revealed that Garon is aware of Corrin's resolve to stop the war as well as his true nature. The trio are soon ambushed inside a system of caves by Vallite warriors, and survive after a timely reunion with Gunter, who had survived his earlier fall.Īfter returning back to the real world thanks to the assistance of an unknown woman, Corrin announces his intention to unite both Hoshido and Nohr against Anankos before the path to Valla is closed for the next few decades.
Corrin believes that he must tell his families, but Azura tells him of the Vallite curse: speaking about the kingdom while outside of it will result in the speaker dying and being reduced to water. She explains that the wasteland they saw was once a peaceful kingdom which was conquered by the mad dragon Anankos he has now set his sights onto both Hoshido and Nohr, and manipulated both sides into fighting and destroying each other for his own gain. With no one to turn to, Azura brings Corrin and Felicia to the Bottomless Canyon, which serves as a gateway to the hidden Kingdom of Valla.
